When I hear Faith Ministry I am reminded of Psalm 127, “unless the Lord builds the house.” I realize you could grow in faith but the Father has to start you off. Unless God starts you off with faith the labor is in vain. Faith is a seed that grows and grows just like life you grow into. Your faith becomes to the level where you speak to others you just know you know that faith works and you then get with the faith so they could leave foolishness alone. The Faith Ministry is so important because like the Prophet Isaiah said, “If the Lord wants somebody here I am” a Faith Ministry speaks the same way. When your faith grows, your ministry grows because you don’t count the empty seats; you count the seats that are filled with the Spirit.
St. John #5 stresses the importance of faith in its ministries because with faith it is possible to please God. The Roman soldier told Jesus the Christ speak the word right here right now and my servant will be healed. Jesus the Christ turned to his disciples and said, “never before have I seen such great faith.” Start looking at how God supplies your needs and desires, faith is needed to see how blessed you are. Start looking at how you solve problems in a more positive light. Start looking at the righteousness of God and it is revealed from faith to faith. Start looking at how God has guided you and lead you a long way in your life. Start looking at how you are the victor and not the victim. Start looking at the way that joy is overtaking your life, not just being happy but, full of joy. Start looking at your level of knowledge, understanding and wisdom and how it is continuously growing. Start looking at yourself now that you have made faith a lifestyle and not a temporary thing. Start looking at how you’ve made it, realizing that you could not do it by yourself. Remember, the Bible says we can’t do anything without Jesus the Christ.

St. John #5 Faith Church welcomes you with open arms, come as you are! St. John #5 is still growing and we have withstood hardship, pain, problems, death and suffering etc. and we don’t want that for the next person. That is why we share God’s Word and Love, letting everyone know to just put your faith in God. Use your faith as you minister to others and as you minister to yourself. We tell our members if you don’t believe how you can get someone also to believe. St. John #5 preaches faith like the Bible tells us to do. We “walk by faith, not by sight.” We don’t dwell on our problems; our faith is our source and Jesus is our solution. Our Faith Ministry is growing because our faith is growing. We are not going to stop; we will keep applying our faith in everything. Faith is where you believe and don’t see it first but know it is there for you. St. John #5 believes in spreading the goodness of God’s Word and it is also takes joy in taking care of its community members in the beautiful City of New Orleans, while also having a big heart to reach out to everyone throughout the U.S. and the rest of the World! We truly understand what it means to have faith and we are a church that puts our faith into action!
